Wordless Wednesday

Not so much, actually.

It's been one year since my precious Bella left this world.

I miss her more than you know.

She wasn't just a dog to me. She was my baby.

She wasn't even a year old yet.

Ignore my messy sheet.

She was always following me. Where I went, she went.

She'll always have a special place in my heart

Things You Should Know if We're Going to be BFF

These are things you should
know if we're going to be BFF's!

Ashley over at Little Miss Momma has started a linky with a list of things you should know if we're going to be BFF's. I wanted to join in on the fun!

I stopped drinking Dr. Pepper successfully for a year and then started
drinking it again just recently. Not obsessively though.

When I go out to eat, if I choose something that has mushrooms in it, I tell them I am highly allergic to them. Truth? I'm just absolutely disgusted by them.

When I need something ironed I just throw into the dryer.
It works just as well!

I hate talking on the phone.
Please just text me.

I love love love to paint my nails but I suck at it.
I get it all over my fingers.

I was born in California but don't remember anything about it.
I secretly wish I was born in Texas.
Texas has my whole heart!

Start playing with my hair and I'll be out like a light.

Every year I buy a day planner with every intention on using it. I fail after the second week of having it.

I am not a morning person at all.

I'm not a night person as well.

Driving at night scares me. I have really bad depth perception.

Photography is something I've always wanted to get into.
It's definitely a learning process.

I am obsessed with One Tree Hill.

I wish I had more of a relationship with my dad. He loves his new girlfriend more.
I just know it.

I already have my future children's name picked out.
No, I will not share them. It's a secret!

Success!

It's a miracle! Three posts in one day. haha

In my last post I said I had been struggling with getting a bokeh picture. Welllll ladies and gentlemen, I have figured it out!! They aren't the best pictures but they'll do for now.

And this one is just for fun!

I am so frustrated!

Ugh! I've been trying for days now to get this bokeh thing down. I can't for the life of me figure it out though. I've looked at several tutorials on how to do it and I still can't get it it. It's really making me angry. I feel like a failure. It seems so simple yet I haven't been able to do it. Does anyone have any advive for me? Any tips?

Thank you!

P.S.
If it helps, I have a Nikon D3000.

Not so wordless Wednesday

I participated in an ornament swap over at Trying Our Best. I received my ornament today and wanted to share with you!

I know I went a little overboard on the pictures.

Enjoy!

Dish Out On Camera week two!

So it's time to link up our videos again over at Guinn and Bare It! The two questions this week were what is your favorite thing in your house or what is the best Christmas present you have ever gotten. Here is my video!

I can't wait to see everyone else's videos! Oh, if you click on the button above it'll take you over to Lou's page!

ETA: I just realized I called it "Dish It Out On Camera" in my video but it is supposed to be "Dish Out On Camera."

Video Linkup!

Lacey over at Guinn and Bare It is hosting a video linkup every week. At least I think it's going to be every week. We had two questions that we could choose from. I chose to speak about one of my most embarrassing moments. Without further ado, here it is!

You should go on over and check her blog out! Also, if you feel like it, maybe you'll participate in next weeks linkup?

Guinn and Bare It: Thanksgiving Linkup!

I'm participating in Lacey's Thanksgiving linkup over at Guinn and Bare It. You should go check her blog out. I enjoy reading it!

Turkey day Questions:

1.What is one of your families thanksgiving feast traditions? We honestly don't really have an traditions. It's pretty sad. Maybe I should start one this year.

2.Do you have a specific plate you cook every year? No, I bring whatever I'm told to bring. This year no one told me to bring anything so I'm making a pumpkin upside cake. It's delicious! Want the recipe?

Here you go:

1 cup granulated sugar

3 eggs, beaten
29 oz can pumpkin (I use libby's brand)
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 oz can evaporated milk
1 pound yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped nuts (I use pecans)
4 tablespoons melted butter
whipped cream (for serving)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix together sugar, eggs, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, salt, and milk. Lightly spray a 9x13 pan. Pour mixture in. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pumpkin mixture, then sprinkle on the nuts. pour the melted butter even over all.

Bake 50-60 mins
(It's done when a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean)
Cool. Serve with whipped cream.

3.Do you ever wish that you were a pilgrim...and that you were there for the first feast? Eh, not really.

4.What are you thankful for? I am thankful for so much! I'm thankful for Jon, my family and the roof I have over my head. I realize I take so much for granted and I can't describe how thankful I am for everything.

5.Are you going to join the black friday crew? Not this year. Jon and I actually got up last year on Thanksgiving day around 7am and then didn't go to sleep until 9am on Black Friday. We went to Austin for Thanksgiving and then that night went and saw New Moon at like 10pm. We didn't get out until super late and had to drop my sister back off at my parents house. Then we made the hour drive back to Fort Hood. By the time we had got back there it was like 2am. We decided to go ahead and hit up some stores. We actually got some really good deals. I don't want to do that again this year. I want to avoid the crowds. Especially in this town, people are so rude and have no common courtesy.

6.If you had to list your favorite holidays, what number would Thanksgiving be? Thanksgiving is definitely my second favorite with the Fourth of July being my first. There's just something about that holiday that I love. It's probably because I love getting together with my friends/family and having a big BBQ on the lake. Plus, it's the day after my birthday :)

Katelyn and the Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Week.

Last week was hands down the most awful week of the month year. If it wasn't one thing, it was another. Somehow we kept getting charged for something we paid for at the beginning of the month. Actually, we weren't even charged the correct amount at first so USAA credited our account. Then we finally got charged the right amount but two weeks later. We had paid with our debit card so it should have been taken out right then and there when we swiped and entered the pin number. For some reason it didn't. So since it wasso close to pay day our account was at like nothing (we've been having some financial issues) and when that money was finally taken out it put us into the negative. Since it put us into the negative we got charged an NSF fee of $25 which put us further into the hole. We called USAA and explained the situation so they again were so helpful and took the NSF fee off but we're still negative because of the other charge. So for some odd reason I get the urge to check our account and the charge has just disappeared. I called USAA once again and explained the situation once again. They had no idea where it went. So pay day comes and we have everything planned out for what bills we have to pay. So I got to pay some bills and check out account and guess what has shown up again. You guessed it. That stupid no good charge. Luckily we had just enough for that amount and then some. I wasn't upset that we had to pay it. I was upset that it kept showing up and then disappearing. It was create this snowball effect with our stupid money situation.

So now comes the cherry on top to my awful week....

I get a call on Monday afternoon from Jon (who was on leave) frantically asking how much cash I had on me (keep in mind what was going on with our account). I said about $80. He said Jake (refer to this post if you don't know who he is) had hurt his leg and he was at the vet with him. So I grab Caden (the little boy I'm a nanny for) from his nap, put shoes on him and haul butt out the door. I get there and it turns out he has broken his leg. Jon had put the dogs out in the backyard, went to let them in and noticed Jake was hurt. He has no idea how it happened though. So they wanted to do xrays but that was going to cost us $140 and we couldn't afford it. Yes, I know I'm a bad pet owner for not having money set aside for emergencies. They said they felt around on it and the way he had broken it he was going to need surgery to place a pin in his leg. Everything was going to cost us right under a grand. We don't have that kind of money and they wouldn't work with us or set up a payment plan. (Shame on us for not having a savings account) The only thing we could afford was for them to splint it up so he wouldn't injure it further. We called around but no one would help or even think about a payment plan. Luckily, I had a friend who worked for Animal Trustees of Austin who told us to take him there. So the next day Jon called, explained the situation and they said to bring him in immediately. They found out he was military because of where we were coming from and really wanted to help us. They were so appreciative of what he does while at the same time we were appreciative of them for helping us. Jake had his surgery last Wednesday and we haven't had to pay a dime. They set us up on payments plans. Oh, and the best part is they're only charging us half of what the other vet wanted. Animal Trustees of Austin is a non-profit animal welfare organization. They are open only because of donations. These people really care for animals unlike these other money hungry vet offices. We are so thankful for them!

I've noticed that the last couple of my posts have been downers and I promise that they'll get better and more cheerful! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

Oh! On a lighter note, I've signed up for an ornament swap!

You can go here to sign up! Go ahead, you know you want to!

One Year Later

One year ago today, 12 Soldiers, 1 veteran, and 1 unborn baby were killed in a tragic event here at Fort Hood. I will never forget how scary it was hearing that someone shot our soldiers here where we're supposed to feel safe. I so naively thought that soldiers don't hurt other soldiers. I thought they all had each others back. I was wrong, very wrong. Wound are still not healing for some. They're waiting for justice to come for Hasan. They've waited patiently and it's time they give him what he deserves.

Just take a moment and remember these people who deserve to be recognized.

Michael Grant Cahill, 65, of Cameron, Texas.

Maj. Libardo Eduardo Caraveo, 52, of Woodbridge, Virginia.

Staff Sgt. Justin M. DeCrow, 32, of Evans, Georgia.

Capt. John Gaffaney, 56, of San Diego, California.

Spc. Frederick Greene, 29, of Mountain City, Tennessee.

Spc. Jason Dean Hunt, 22, of Tipton, Oklahoma.

Sgt. Amy Krueger, 29, of Kiel, Wisconsin.

Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah.

Spc. Michael Pearson , 21, of Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Capt. Russell Seager, 51, of Racine, Wisconsin.

Pvt. Francheska Velez, 21, of Chicago. Her unborn child was the 14th victim.

Juanita Warman, 55, of Pittsburgh.

Spc. Kham Xiong, 23, of St. Paul, Minnesota.

My heart is with the families who lost loved ones that day.

Friday Fill-In

Well I'm jumping back on the bandwagon and doing Wife of a Sailor's Milspouse Friday Fill-In. Go on and check out her blog!

1. A different twist on last week’s question. This week, the first question is: what’s the nicest thing a MILSPOUSE has ever done for you? (brought to you from navy_smurfette)

The nicest thing a Milspouse has ever done would probably be just simply being my friend. I don't have too many around here and my dear friend Ashley has been amazing to me! She's constantly inviting me to things and making me feel welcomed.

2. How often do you drive faster than the speed limit?

Everyday. I know, I know. Shame on me. It's a really bad habit I have. I usually only go about 5 or 10 over though.

3. Did you have a nickname in school? If so, what was it?

I honestly can't remember if I did or not. You would think that if I did, I would remember it. I'm pretty sure I didn't have one though.

4. If your life was a book, what would the title be and how would it end?

I have absolutely no clue. I'm so not creative when it comes to these things. I do know though, it would end with me married and with children.

5. Look back (in your planner if you have one) to September 14th… what did you do that day?

I don't have a planner but I do know that since it was a Tuesday, I was working. So I was either at the park with Little C (the little boy I watch) or we were watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

And This Is Why I Love Him...

Jon and I had a little argument on my way to work. I had called him to remind him of something and he complained about me waking him up. I told him to go back to sleep and I hung up. I then turned off my phone. I know, I know, real mature of me. I didn't want to talk to him though. So I get to work and I'm upstairs with Cassie (my boss) changing Caden (the little boy I watch) and talking with her. The doorbell rings so I go downstairs and it's Jon. He said he had tried calling me (I turned my phone back on when I got to work) but I had left it downstairs so didn't hear it ring. So he proceeded to drive all the way over here just to apologize! I couldn't believe he had drove the 15 minutes over to my work just to apologize!

This is one of the MANY reasons why I love him :)

My heart is breaking

It's breaking for my Dad and Step-mom (Suzette). Let me backtrack just a tad. My mom and dad were never married. If it wasn't for Suzette and my grandpa (my dad's father) I probably wouldn't have ever met my Dad. It was them who encouraged my Dad to have a relationship with me. I remember finding a letter a few years back from my GPM ( it stands for Grandpa Molina, he's been signing cards and gifts like that for years) and Grandma apologizing for the way my father was acting for not reaching out to my mother and helping her. Since then my Dad has been in my life along with Suzette. She's definitely been a second mother to me. Actually, there are no places when it comes to my Mother and Suzette. They've both equally been mothers me. My mom isn't one for talking about sex or my period and boys. Suzette was who I went to for that. Well, I didn't go to her about sex but you get the point. She's been awesome. I love her to death. I always joked around that if my Dad and her split up that she would most definitely still be in my life.

Well, last Thursday I had just sat down to do my final. Before I even started I got a call from my Dad. He said he was on his way to Fort Worth and saw the exit for Killeen and thought about me. He had called to catch up. He casually mentioned that Suzette had moved into her new house. I said, "Excuse me?" He got extremely quiet for a few seconds. He said, "Oh, you didn't know? I though I had told you. I'm so sorry sweetie but we split up." My heart dropped to my stomach. Tears started welling up in my eyes and I got choked up. All I could say was I'm sorry. I didn't know what else to say. We talked about how he moved into an apartment and that the kids are still living with Suzette. Our conversation was then over. Just like that I find out my parents are divorcing. He even mentioned he had been moved out since September 14th and I'm just now finding out!! He says they're going to try and work things out but I know they won't. Secretly I had a feeling a while back that it was going to happen.

It's really just now sinking in. I keep wondering about my brother and sister. I wonder what we'll do for Thanksgiving. I wonder what we'll do for Christmas. I wonder what will happen when I get married. I know I'll still invite her but will it be weird for them? I hope this divorce doesn't turn nasty. I hope my brother and sister aren't hurting too much.

  I know I am.

Opinions?

I mentioned in my last post that I had gotten a new camera. I'm going to show you a few pictures. Let me know what you think, please. Oh and be completely honest.

I had really been itching to get out and use my camera so Jon and I drove to downtown Austin and I took these.

Guess who moved?!

Meee! Jon and I are finally out of our teeny tiny apartment. We are now proud renters of a two bedroom, one and a half bath house. It's a two story with a huge backyard. I'm so happy to be out of that awful apartment! We haven't completely unpacked yet so when thats done I'll show pictures.

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this but our wedding was post-poned. We were supposed to have been married this past Saturday. Welllll, the Army had different plans for us. About a month and a half ago, Jon came down on orders to depoy. He was going to be leaving in a matter of weeks. Like 2 to 3 weeks. We didn't want to rush into getting married right before he left so we just called off the whole thing. Guess what? They decided not to send him. So right now we're just kind of enjoying being engaged I guess, lol. We haven't even really mentioned a date since calling it off. I'm thinking next March. Who knows?

We've added an addition to our family. His name is Jake! He's a little 5 month old sheltie. He was our neighbors dog when we were living in our apartment. They lived on the second floor and would leave him out all day and all night. There was nothing blocking the sun and they were just letting him go to the restroom on the balcony. They also had him tied up out there so he couldn't even walk around. You can most definitely tell that he was abused because if we raise our voice or make sudden movements, his ears go back and his whole demeanor changes. We also think he was hit by a belt. Jon was picking up his belt and Jake took off hiding. It's so sad. Jake is also having to warm up to Jon. Jon has to get down on his level and also has to lower his voice when talking to him. We're also thinking our neighbor (a man) was the abuser. Even though he's still skiddish, he's a happy pup now.

He's ferocious!

He's going to eat youuu!

Just kidding :) He's really sweet!

Hello!

And this one just for fun! I recently got a Nikon D3000 and I am still learning all about it.

It's been foreverrrr!

It's been almost a month since I have been able to finally sit down and write on here. I've been so darn busy. With working 45-50 hours and taking 16 hours of class, I haven't had time for much. Usually my days consist of work, school while the kid naps, work, and school when I get home. I even have school on Friday evenings from 4:45pm until 8:35pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2:35pm. I hate that class with a passion, not only because it takes up most of my weekend but because it's *shudder* math. Bleck, is what I think of math.

Jon and I have been searching high and low for a perfect house for us to rent. We've been doing month to month with our apartment for about 5 months now and we want out of this crappy place. We think we have found a good house for us so we're submitting the application this week. With us luck! We just bought new couches and a washer and dryer for the place. I know we're getting ahead of ourselves but even if we don't get this place we'll get another so either way it'll get put somewhere. I can't wait to start decorating! This is my first house to ever rent. It's kind of a big deal for me.

I was just thinking the other day about how fast my life is moving. I'm getting married, renting my first house and babies have been in our talks lately. It just feels like I was graduating high school last year and now I'm getting married. Oh, speaking of getting married. I think I mentioned in a previous post the date that we were getting married (October 8th.) Welllll, it's changed. Around September 1st, Jon got word he was deploying in very very short notice. So we cancelled the wedding and stopped planning. Well you guys know how the army is. They changed theirs minds, and he didn't leave after all. So the wedding has been kind of put on the back burner for now. We're just taking our time being engaged. Nothing wrong with that, right?

Sooo just curious, are there any Texas ladies that read this? Well, lookie what I got!

It's my second tattoo and it honestly did not hurt too bad. I thought the pain was going to be much worse.

Well, I'm off to work on some more homework!

Friday Fill-In

1. What is ONE thing you’d like civilians to understand about being a military family?

Seeing as I'm still considered a civilian and not an Army wife there are still things I'm learning about. I'm not really sure what to say for this one.

2. What is your favorite mistake?

My favorite mistake might sound a bit odd to you guys. It would most definitely have to be thinking I was in love with my ex boyfriend. It took me disobeying my parents, moving in with him, paying for every.single.thing., him cheating on me not once but 3 times for me to realize that I was fool and I wasn't really in love. I liked the idea of settling down with someone. I liked the idea of getting married and starting a family. Him ruining 4 years of my life made my current relationship all the more better. I knew what mistakes I had made before and I wasn't going to do that again. The mistake of being with him made me know I am absolutely head over heels for Jon.

3. What indulgence could you give up for a year?

Coke (or pop for you yanks), tea, or any caffinated beverage. I haven't drank any kind coke for over a year. Actually I take that back. I have had a sip or three in a whole year but not a whole one. I have no desire for it. As for tea, that's my weakness. Sweet ice tea. Guess what? We haven't drank that in over a month. It's only water for me. Oh and milk too.

4. If you could be a winged animal, what would you be?

I would be a hummingbird. They are so gorgeous and graceful.
5. What is one question you’d like to see asked in a future MFF?

I have no idea. What kind of advice could you give a newbie like me?

Look What I Got!

Flip Flops and Combat Boots was doing a giveaway from MilitaryCakeToppers.com and guess who won?!!

Meeee!

You guys don't understand how excited I am! I never, and I mean never, win anything. I was so excited to wake up, check my email and see that I had won something. Oh, I'm just now bloggin about this but I received the exciting news on Saturday. I was so busy with something all weekend, that I'll tell you about in a minute, that I'm just now talking about it. So you're probably wondering what I won, right?

This! Sorry it's kind of blurry.
I was able to choose from a couple of different charms. With Jon being in the Army, you can probably understand why I chose this one. Nicole sent me an email saying they would ship it out today so I can't wait to get that in! I love getting mail. I get a wee bit excited when I get a package or something in the mail, even if it is just a catalog. Weird, right?

Moving on to another topic.

Jon and I had been planning on getting married in October at the court house. Then we were going to have our "real" wedding next year. Well I get a call from my wonderful Step-Mom saying my Aunt D and Uncle C would love to host their house as the wedding/reception site. My Aunt D said she would love for us to go ahead and have the actual wedding instead of waiting. So we're getting married in October! October 9th to be exact. How crazy is that?! We went over to their house which is a good hour and a half drive to go over ever.single.detail. Our heads were spinning by the time we left. So needless to say, my weeks are going to full of wedding planning on top of my job and classes. I'm so excited though! My Dad wants to buy my wedding dress. I'm going with my Mom first to try on dress and I'm going to narrow it down to my top three picks. Then my Dad and I are going to have a father-daughter day and do lunch and he's going to go with me to see the top three picks.

I'm so blessed to have the family I do. Everyone is pitching in to help with wedding costs and it awesome how excited everyone is. I'm a little stressed already, but what bride isn't when planning a wedding?

Friday Fill-In

I'm finally jumping on the bandwagon and filling out the MilSpouse fill-in. If you're a MilSpouse, go on over to Wife of a Sailor's blog and participate.

1. What is your spouse's best feature?

I love his eyes! They are a gorgeous bluish green color. I love gazing into them....*sigh*.

Okay, moving on now. I'll stop being a sap.
Oh, and he has amazing lips. They're just so full, lol. They're great for kissing.
2. Mild, Medium or Hot sauce?

Hot! I love love love hot stuff. I once at a habanero salsa and boy was that sucker spicy. I still ate it though.

3. What is the worst uniform you had to wear for a job?

Probably when I worked at Walmart. We had to wear Khakis and they always got dirty. Other than that I've never had a bad uniform that I have had to wear.
4. You have invisible powers… where is the first place you would go?

I honestly have no idea. I geuss to the beach. So no one has to see my pasty self.
5. What’s left on your “to do” list for this summer?

Absolutely nothing. Just to relax and get ready for this new job that starts on the same day as my classes. When those start, I'll be super busy.

Bear with me today

Okay, is it bare or bear with me? Stupid question, I know.

I'm going to go ahead and finish up the 30 Days of Me today. I should have already been done with this over a month ago.

Day 18: Whatever tickles your fancy

I got a job! Get this though. It's a nanny position where I will be working 9 hours a day 5 days a week. I will be primarily taking care of the couple's 18 month old son.
Oh, on top of that I'll be taking 6 online classes. You heard that right, 6 online classes. Maybe my mom is right.

Day 19: A talent of yours

I have no talent. None. I can't sing, draw, paint, etc. I have really been wanting to get into photography. I love taking pictures but my camera is crappy to take the  kind of pictures I want to take. Maybe one day that will be my talent. Who knows?

I was just informed by Jon that my talent is cooking. I don't think so but he begs to differ. I've really been on a healthy kick lately and have been  cooking some great things.

Day 20: A hobby of yours

I would have to say reading is my hobby. I'm in love with reading. It was so bad when I was younger that my parents would take away my books when I was grounded, along with everything else. If they wouldn't have I could have sat in my room for hours just reading.

Day 21: A recipe

I've been finding some amazing recipes from Cooking Light.

Ingredients

1 tablespoon canola oil
1/2 cup chopped green onions (about 4)
1 garlic clove, minced I just bought a jar of minced garlic
1 cup sliced fresh okra (about 4 ounces)
1 cup chopped red bell pepper (about 1)
1 finely chopped seeded jalapeño pepper
1 cup fresh corn kernels (about 2 ears)
1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and garlic; sauté 1 minute. Add okra; sauté 3 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Add bell pepper and jalapeño; cook 5 minutes. Add corn; cook 5 minutes. Stir in beans; cook 2 minutes. Stir in cilantro; sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

I paired this reciped with broiled salmon. It was awesome! It also makes for left over lunch the next day.

Day 22: A website

You must check this website out! It has the cutest clothes. Pink Ice

I want this

This also

Ooo, and these!

Day 23: A YouTube video

I love this girls videos on youtube! She has great makeup tutorials.

Isn't she gorgeous?!

Day 24: Whatever tickles your fancy

I'm going to skip this one.

Day 25: Your day, in great detail

I cleaned. Oh, and watched two shows I DVRed last night. Needless to say, I was lazy today.

Day 26: Your week, in great detail,
Day 27: This month, in great detail,
Day 28: This year, in great detail

I grouped these three together because it was going to get repetitive. My life so far this year has been really uneventful. The only thing worth mentioning is my engagement! I've already talked about that though so I won't go into detail.

Day 29: Hopes, dreams and plans for the next 365 days
I want to marry the man of my dreams, finish up my associates next May, figure out where we'll be when Jon reclasses and if we end up staying at Fort Hood, buy a house.

Day 30: Whatever tickles your fancy

Again, I'm skipping this one.

I'm doneeee!

I've failed miserably...

at the 30 Days of Me. Sorry guys! I just haven't been in the mood to write lately. I'm going to go ahead an continue it though.

Day 13: A fictional book

L.A. Candy by Lauren Conrad

I just read this book recently and I loved it! It's so full of Drama! I'm a huge fan of Lauren Conrad and I don't know why I hadn't read this sooner. I'll be reading her next book, Sweet Little Lies.

Day 14: A non-fictional book

I haven't read a non-fiction book in a while. I don't even remember the name of the last non-fiction book I read. Oh well.

Day 15: A fanfic

I feel dumb for even asking this. What is a fanfic? Does anyone know?

Day 16: A song that makes you cry (or nearly)

This song makes me cry all.the.time.

Day 17: An art piece (painting, drawing, sculpture, etc.)

I'm really not a huge art person. I don't currently have any favorite paintings, drawings or sculptures that I like.

Today's blog was pretty boring but I thought I should continue with the 30 Days of Me and get it finished.
